First Time Renting Guide

Welcome! Renting your first home is an exciting step, and we’re here to make it simple.

What to Expect

  • Finding a property: Browse available homes on our website under Property Search.

  • Viewings: Book a viewing and ask any questions you’re encouraged to take your time.
  •     Application Forms: To process your application, we will require valid photographic identification and proof of address (for example, a recent utility bill or equivalent official document). Additional documentation may be requested where necessary to support your application. 
  • Reserving a Property –What to Expect: If you like a property to secure a property, you will be asked to pay a one week deposit and sign a pre-tenancy agreement. Once this is completed, we will take the property off the market and stop advertising and viewings. 
  • Please note: if you decide not to proceed with the tenancy after paying the deposit, the deposit will be non-refundable. If you have any questions before reserving, feel free to contact us we’re happy to help.
  • References & checks: We’ll carry out standard checks (employment, previous landlord, etc.).
  • Deposit & rent: Once approved, you’ll pay a deposit and your first month’s rent to secure the property.
